Exclusive: Michael Pomeroy has wrapped up the psychological drama Paul, Greg and Amelia Starring Quinn Jackson (Inductions), Christopher Ryan (American Horror Story), Matt Hardy (the rest of your life) and Terra Lin (Black Box).
This is New York City-based director Pomeroy’s second feature film after Thisthe rest of your life (2022), in which he starred as a frustrated recent college graduate whose work and love life don’t go as planned, opposite Hardy as a slacker co-worker who becomes an unlikely beacon.
The new film is inspired by a promising novelist paralyzed by writer’s block, who reconnects with his estranged college roommate, now a wealthy tech entrepreneur, in hopes of finding inspiration for his next book. What begins as a series of interviews quickly turns into a dangerous psychological reckoning when a decades-old secret involving a businessman’s wife comes to light, putting the lives of all three in danger.
The film was produced by Jack Mulcahy (McMullen brothers), Lucian Formicella (Hi Dawai), Cal Green (Raw cut), Todd Slater of Convoc Media (Optimist, Bella), and Pomeroy. Executive producers are James R. Wally and Brandon Svak.
The original score was composed by Michael Abiosu and Christopher Bordeaux, the Emmy Award-winning composer duo whose credits include Clear baby, Landlineand many acclaimed independent film and television projects. Additional music is provided by EDM artist Delacour.
Slater’s New York-based independent Convoc Media is preparing to launch sales of the film in Toronto.
